Donating to The Windmill Center

Thank you for your interest in donating to The Windmill Center. Through our community's generosity, The Windmill Center has been able to offer services to people in the Disability Community and people dealing with chronic health conditions and pain since 2001. Your donation will help maintain our sliding fee scale so that access to our creative arts, counseling, advocacy, psycho-education, and peer support programs are available to those with financial need. 100% of donations will go directly to The Windmill Center's services.

The Windmill Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations and payments to The Windmill Center are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law.

Types of donations:

General: Your donation will be earmarked for where the need is greatest at the time of your donation.

Specific: You may specify the program that will benefit from your donation:

Counseling for people with disabilities and chronic health conditions.
Self-advocacy support to assist people in speaking for themselves when their human rights have been violated.
The Sally Miner Memorial Music Scholarship provides a year of financial support to a participant in The Windmill Center's creative arts program for people with developmental disabilities. The scholarship is named in memory of Sally Miner, a dancer and musician, who participated in our program for seven years and expressed her passion and love of life through the arts.
Remember someone special by giving a general gift in their memory. The Windmill Center will send a card acknowledging your thoughtful donation to the person of your choice. A donation also may given in honor of someone special.
